Reading Local Authority
A range of training courses delivered as part of the local authority annual training programme for EYFS practitioners in day nurseries, preschools, Children’s Centres, schools and childminders. This included topics such as, SEND, young children’s behaviour and supporting two year olds. A set of linked sessions were devised to support practitioners working with two year olds to use a sustainable, action research approach to improving their own practice.
Dudley Local Authority
The Early Years Team have complemented their on going support and training for EYFS settings through a series of sessions focused on ‘Narrowing the Gap’ training delivery combines workshops led by myself and members of the team.
Croydon Local Authority
Training session for Early Years Practitioners focussing on being positive about children’s behaviour and looking for ways to improve it. The session explored early brain development, social contexts from the child’s perspective and the impact of emotions on behaviour for both adults and children. An advanced behaviour course has been devised to engage more experienced practitioners in reflecting on their own setting practice and seeking effective ways to improve.

An innovative programme of consultancy and training is being trialled to support continuous improvement and expansion of the business.
